C4LL collects personal data to power our site analytics, including:

C4LL fully complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect identifiable personal information from children under age 13. If we discover that a person under the age of 13 has provided us with any personally identifiable information, we will immediately delete that information from our systems. We are unable to reply to information requests directly from children under the age of 13, if so identified. A parent or guardian must initiate any requests for information from children under the age of 13 on their behalf. 

What do you do with my personal information?

Information is collected to:

  1. send you information that may be of interest to you, including but not limited to:

    • the features of our website;

    • programs and resources;

    • information about our movement and solidarity work (including co-created campaigns by others on our website and/or campaigns by our trusted partners);

  2. maintain our relationship with you (for example, by responding to your questions);

  3. create and maintain records for our internal accounting and administration purposes.

If you do not provide personal information, we may not be able to send these resources and updates to you.

Will you give my personal information to anyone else?

Any information we collect from you may be used in campaigns or outreach by volunteers or trusted partners, or to get in touch with you to keep you informed about our work and the work of like-minded organizations. 

C4LL is fiscally sponsored by Gender and Sexualities Alliance Network (GSAN), which processes our donations. When you donate to support our work, you will be routed to GSAN’s website and subject to information they collect. 

Will you use my information for any other purpose?

Occasionally, we may use your personal information for other purposes (and/or share your information with a third party) because we believe it is necessary to do so, in these circumstances:

  1. to protect the rights, property or personal safety of our users, employees, volunteers or any member of the public;

  2. to prevent or help detect fraud or serious credit infringements;

  3. to protect our interests (e.g. disclosing information to a court); or

  4. if the assets and operations of our business are being transferred to another party as a going concern.
