Kamilah Zadi is a second generation Korean-Algerian legal apprentice born and raised in Los Angeles. She is a recent UCLA grad with a degree in Political Science and a concentration in Race and Ethnic Politics. She began her legal apprenticeship with C4LL in June 2021, after deciding to reject the traditional notions of what it means to study and practice law. A legal apprenticeship gives her the opportunity to do the grassroots community building that she has always been passionate about.

Kamilah works as the Los Angeles Chapter Director for Blasian Project, a multimedia project to uplift the voices of mixed Black and Asian folk. She also supports her mother's nonprofit, Asian Americans for Housing and Environmental Justice, which works with Asian and Black seniors and builds interethnic/racial coalitions in Southern California.
